RMNP Elk 2022 0611

Large Bulk Elk were laying around at the meadow near the North Entrance. The Lakes also support the Big Horn Sheep but we rarely see the Sheep here.

I saw a Cow and two calves on the trail at 9500 ft. At Moraine park there was a large herd. Several near the path way. We would have got closer except the stream was overflowing and getting closer would have been difficult. Besides, they are very Big animals and they run fast than me.
