Promontory Park 2022 0615 Red Winged Black Bird Goslings Heron Reflective Water

The Eagle's nest just off a trail near the old Kodak plant was inaccessible due to road work. I ended up at Promontory park. This park is on the outskirts of Greeley, Colorado. It sits between Business 34 and Highway 34. Its near three large office buildings that includes farmer's Insurance.

Like several of the Large City Parks it has the same Photographic opportunities. The Star of the show was a Red Winged Black Bird Dad who was feeding a baby girl on the shore near a nest in the reeds. The Dad has a head injury from it looks like some kind of battle. I got some shots of Goslings and a Heron. I saw a fisherman catch a nice Bass.

The last Heron pictures were of a Bird flying overhead at River Bluffs Open Space.
