Bob Cat Open space was a new Hike for us today. I love the Red Rock Cliffs that line the East side of the Valley. There is a Flagg Stone mining operation near here. I got several Wild Flower pictures. I accidental took a great picture of a Bee headed to a Purple Thistle. I got some White Poppies with Grass Hoppers in them.
A Red Tailed hawk Greeted us at the start of the hike, (or that's what if looks like). Its hard to get a good color scheme from the Bird against a High Blue Sky. A very pretty Western meadow lark Couple sounded the approach of the first Junction in the trail. Morning Doves cooed us as we hiked the first gradient. We choose the hottest part of the day to hike.
There was some type of sparrow I got one picture of. Several other birds were well hidden in the Brush. I also got a flying mag Pie series of pictures. .
